For many Syrians abroad, the desire to invest in their homeland is strong, but turning that intention into action remains difficult. Over the years, several barriers have prevented meaningful investment and slowed the process of rebuilding.
After more than a decade of challenges, Syria’s economy remains fragile but full of potential. The country’s private sector has been heavily affected, infrastructure has weakened, and access to global markets and financing remains limited. Yet beneath these difficulties, there is a strong foundation of talent, resilience, and opportunity waiting to be unlocked.
Inside Syria, thousands of entrepreneurs continue to work, create, and innovate despite the lack of resources and institutional support. At the same time, millions of Syrians abroad carry skills, experience, and capital that could help transform the economy if connected to the right opportunities.
The problem is not the absence of ideas or people, but the absence of an ecosystem that links them together in a structured, transparent, and credible way.
Amal Ventures was created to change that reality. By building bridges between the diaspora and local entrepreneurs, we aim to transform isolated efforts into collective progress. We believe that with trust, structure, and collaboration, Syria can move from survival to sustainable growth.
